Yossi Avni-Levy is an Israeli author and diplomat, currently he serves as the Israeli Ambassador in Belgrade.

His first novels were published under the penname “Yossi Avni.” He spent over 10 years working as an Israeli diplomat in Germany, Yugoslavia, and Poland. His books include: “The Garden of Dead Trees” (Zmorah Bitan 1995), “The Four Sons” (Zmorah Bitan 1998), “Aunt Forhoma Wasn’t a Whore” (Am Oved 2002), “The Man without a Shadow” (Zmorah Bitan 2007), and “Song of Sin” (Kinneret Zmorah Bitan 2010).
